Dr. Irene González MarÃn
My professional approach is holistic. I understand the disease as a loss of the balance between the physical body, mind, emotional body, and energy. Neuroscience teaches us the interrelationship between our mind, endocrine system, immune system, and emotional responses. Epigenetics has shown us how we can modify the expression of our genes with lifestyle, and therefore, disease. We are individual beings, in intimate relationship with ourselves and our environment.

Specialist in Family and Community Medicine: I have practiced Family and Community Medicine for 16 years. Graduated from the University of Seville, 1997-2003. Specialty studied in Alcoy, Alicante, promotion 2004-2007.
Through out my studies, I always wanted to be a family doctor with an integrative approach.

Holistic Kinesiology: Trained in Havana with Pedro Sastriques, integrative physician and internist in 2002. Complemented in the Chinese Medicine Teaching Center with Mar Maeztu Herrera, in Jerez de La Frontera, 2012. With 18 years of professional experience, Holistic kinesiology is fully integrated into my professional practice and personal life.

Bach Flower Therapy and Triunity Essences: Trained in Havana with Pedro Sastriques, Internist and Integrative Physician, 2002. Completed with the Spanish School of Floral Therapy with Susana Veilati between 2009-2010. The Triunity Essences training with Carmen Romanelli will be in Jerez de La Frontera in 2013. The use of floral therapy for 18 years, personally and professionally, has made it an essential tool in my practice.
Systemic-Emotional Approach: I was trained with the Inherentia Association, with Amparo Pastor, a psychologist and member of the Bert Hellinger association, in Seville, between 2010-2011. After ten years of professional practice, I can say that working with her and her team transformed my life in many ways. My family came to one of the gatherings, including my grandmother. I forged friendships that represent a lot to me today.

Female Sexuality: Training carried out with Isabella Magdala, a psychologist specializing in sexuality, between 2014-2015. We deepen and reconcile ourselves with being a woman, with our cycles, emotions and sexuality, and with the importance of companionship between women. Six years of professional practice.

Specialist in micro-nutrition and Diet Therapy: A course organised by the University of Almería in collaboration with the Instituto de Nutrición Celular Activa, 2014-2015. A course in which I deepened my knowledge in nutrition applied to health and disease treatment. Six years of professional experience.
I am Andalusian, from Seville specifically, and I was married for 14 years. During my adult life, I have become aware of the cultural roles, patterns and macho roles that were part of my daily work and personal life.

As humans, we have suffered many situations of conscious and unconscious abuse. In a society marked mainly by productivity, image, and the division of male and female roles, the devaluation of female hormonal cycles and the absence of an integrative vision of the human being are evident.

"Last year I had two Emitra sessions with Irene. At that time, and for several years, I felt quite creatively blocked. I felt unable to tap into my creative potential and allow it to gain real momentum, so I was not able to to start a business doing what I love, because to do so I knew I needed to have the discipline and drive to keep going, day after day (very different from doing a short-term project). However, after the sessions with Irene I started to feel very different. It was as if a part of me had been unlocked. Not only did the ideas flood me, but I also had clarity about what to do with the ideas to manifest them in reality.
